ABOUT ME

My love of photography really only took a hold a few years after I moved to the Cocos (Keeling) Islands in 1999. Being subjected every day with the breathtakingly beautiful scenery it was difficult not to try and capture this remarkable Islands' everchanging moods.

My first love is underwater photography and here on Cocos life beneath the waves is just as spectacular as it is topside. I can blame my husband for becoming a shutterbug - he gave me my first point and shoot underwater film camera so I could ID the different fish. Since then it's been a steady progression of digital cameras and improving my technique. Then came my love for landscape photography and for a while the underwater wonderworld took a backward step.

These days I also photograph barefoot beach weddings and island location portraits. My style is natural, candid, photojournalistic; "just as it happens"..
